About One Way Monroe
We are a group of imperfect people striving to reach and remain in the center of the Will of God. We are committed to doing everything in our power as a church to help everyone experience the love of Jesus Christ. It doesn't matter what denomination you are or even if you question or doubt the existence of God! All are welcome at One Way!
There are no outsiders at One Way Christian Fellowship! We're all sinners in need of redemption and dedicated to helping you grow in your walk with the Lord!
We believe, as John 14:6 states, the ONLY WAY to Heaven is through Jesus Christ!
Our Core Beliefs
- We believe the Holy Bible is the inerrant, infallible, inspired Word of God! (2 Peter 1:20-21, 2 Timothy 3:16)
- We believe Jehovah is the one true God and He has one one begotten Son whose name is Jesus. (John 3:16)
- We believe in the unity of the Godhead which is three persons. These three persons make up the Holy Trinity and they are God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (1 John 5:7-8)
- We believe our adversary is the devil. His scriptural name being Satan or Lucifer. (Isaiah 14:12)
- We believe mankind fell into sin in the Garden of Eden and we as a race have been falling to sin ever since. (Genesis 3:1-8)
- We believe Salvation from sin is available to ALL who believe and are willing to receive it. (Romans 1:16)
- We believe Salvation is given to us by Grace through Faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. (Eph. 2:8-9)
- We believe Salvation is obtained by believing in the heart and confessing with our mouth Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior. (Romans 10:9-10)
- We believe in the virgin birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Isaiah 7:12)
- We believe Jesus Christ lived a perfect and sinless life upon this Earth. (2 Corinthians 5:21)
- We believe Jesus Christ was crucified on the Cross of Calvary for the sins of all mankind. (Romans 5:8-10)
- We believe Jesus Christ arose in victory from the dead on the third and appointed day. (Hosea 6:2, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
- We believe Jesus Christ will return to this Earth and His return is fast approaching. (Matthew 24:36-37)
- We believe a visible Church of Christ is a congregation of baptized believers. (Acts 2:38)
- We believe Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church. (Eph 1:20-22)
- We believe it is appointed unto man once to die. (Heb. 9:27-28)
- We believe those who are made righteous (through the blood of Jesus) will dwell forever in Gods Heaven. (Psalm 27:4)
- We believe those who are wicked through their willingness to sin and their unwillingness to accept Christ as Savior will dwell forever in a lake of fire. (Revelation 20:15)
- We believe in a Christian Sabbath. (Isaiah 58:13-14)
- We believe every believer should follow his/her conversion experience with full water immersion baptism. In so doing the newborn believer in Christ will be following the example of Jesus. (Romans 6:4)
- We believe Genesis is the account of creation is to be accepted literally and not allegorically or figuratively. (Genesis 1:1-31)
- We believe the command to give the Gospel to the World is clear and unmistakable. We also believe this commission was given to the Church. (Matthew 28:19)
- We believe human life begins at conception and the concept of abortion is completely contrary to the teachings found within the Word of God. (Jeremiah 1:5)
- We believe marriage is a divine institution of God, created out of divine wisdom and goodness. It was instituted to promote human happiness and holiness. We also believe it is recognized as being between one man and one woman. (Genesis 2:24)
- We believe the Fruit of the Spirit should be evident both within the Church and within the life of every individual believer. (2 Corinthians 5:17)
